Good news, endocrine doctor doesn't think it's Cushing's Syndrome- said my levels were normal- but I was also told that my levels could be normal, but still need further testing to rule it out. Not so convinced yet. I want to make sure it's not that. The doctor said that if I wanted to press her to do the next test, that she would be fine with doing it just to make sure. I told her I would think about it. Still deciding.
Also found out that I am now pre-diabetic and I have mild hypothyroidism. The thyroid is what I went in for back in March and was told it was ok. So, not sure what to think at this point. Possibly second opinion? She said that she normally doesn't treat my level, but again, if i wanted to press her, she would treat me since it's no risk to try it. This woman and "pressing". Aren't you the doctor? Shouldn't you have a distinct opinion regarding this? Just don't get it. Makes me not trust her. When she basically told me there is no hormonal reason for my symptoms, I started to tear up. I'm tired of bouncing from doctor to doctor, and no test says that it's strong enough evidence to begin a treatment of some type, but it's enough for them to monitor me and give me a "sorta" diagnosis. When I know, something is wrong.
So now, I have been diagnosed with Enlarged Liver, Hypertension, Pre-Diabetes, Mild Hypothyroidism but no treatment except for the blood pressure pills (which has made me feel a ton better). Also see a kidney doctor 2x a year to monitor kidney functions. But, no answers as to why I am falling apart.
Just my luck I guess.
All the stress from my health, Sophia's motor, internship, working a part time job, running a household, school and everything else that is on my plate is beginning to get to me. Starting to get to me so bad, that I'm not even sure what to do anymore. :-(
On a postive note, Sophia is crawling now finally!
